This machine is used at the first stage of beet harvesting. Rotary shafts and sets of rectangular rubber strippers of this machine are able to remove the leaves from the roots completely without damaging of the beets. Defoliated beet leaves could be a good source of organic matter for soil. This machine should be operated with six-spline 540 rpm PTO shaft.
In this model, power transmission to rotary shafts is done through chain and gear set, which eliminates the problems caused by slippage of the belts on the pulleys and successive replacement of belts.
